Self-Consciousness, Self-Objectification, and Social Anxiety as Predictors of Photo Editing Behavior among Emerging Adults

This study aims to assess the impact of self-consciousness, self-objectification, and social anxiety on photo editing behavior among emerging adults. Correlational research strategy was used for present quantitative research, convenient sampling collect data 444 university students (135 males 309 females) with age range 18-25 years. The self-consciousness scale, objectified body consciousness manipulation scale were as assessment tools this study. For analysis, t -test independent samples, correlation, regression analysis implied. results revealed that women had higher in contrast men. Moreover, self-objectification evaluation positively correlated behavior. Lastly, overall shame, one three aspects resulted significant predictors contributes indigenous literature clinical psychology.
